Lake Atitlán Rotary is one of Central America's newest service clubs. Most members are from the lakeside town of Panajachel, where we meet. Our makeup reflects the community, a place called home to folks from no less than 43 countries, and from every continent.
Some of us come to meetings by boat. Atitlán, acclaimed as the world's most beautiful lake by most who see it, is our commuter grid. It is also Guatemala's silver medal tourist destination, and one accommodating visitors of all means.
Our "battle-born" history is as interesting as it is short, and our project profile is as eclectic as the needs of our towns are varied.
Bienvenidos!
